I have always wanted to help people and particularly, be able to provide support to members of my community. When I was a young girl, I always felt like the community supported me and I wanted to be able to give back. I also think mental health is critical to our overall well-being and we do not spend enough time prioritizing our own emotional and mental health.
I love helping clients and supporting them during difficult times. I think making clients feel empowered and helping them find their strengths is an important part of the work that we do as mental health clinicians. I really enjoy being able to help clients learn to value themselves, establish boundaries and build self-esteem.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, reading, cooking, and watching movies. I also enjoy traveling with loved ones.
