I became a therapist because I experienced firsthand how powerful it can be to have someone in your corner. The support I received from my own counselor in college had a lasting impact on me and inspired me to pursue this work myself.
What I love most about being a therapist is getting to know each person I work with and supporting them as they grow in ways that feel meaningful to them. I believe therapy doesn't have to be formal or intimidating; it can be a space where you can show up as yourself, talk through what's on your mind, and feel genuinely supported along the way.
Outside of therapy, you'll usually find me hiking, playing kickball, dancing, spending time with my four cats, or working on creative writing projects.
