When there is trust in the room, we can take thoughtful risks together, trying new ways of responding, stepping outside old patterns, and gently moving beyond comfort zones. Sometimes those experiments lead to growth, and sometimes they do not unfold as expected, but either way, they give us valuable information. I deeply value that process of learning, refining, and growing together.
I was drawn to this work because I deeply believe in personal growth and the power of the small shift and “aha” moments. There is something transformative about learning how to guide your body and emotions through life’s hardest moments. That sense of internal confidence and steadiness is priceless. Being able to witness that strength within ourselves, even in the middle of a storm, is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
When I'm not in session, I take long walks with my Shiba Inu, partly for him, partly because I think better when I'm moving. I'm trying to get better at actually resting instead of just filling downtime, which means doing painfully slow things like drawings, readings, and DIY projects. I'm also drawn to abstract art. There's something satisfying about sitting with something confusing until it starts to make sense.
